About OECD
The Office of Economic & Community Development, located in Lynn, Massachusetts, launched this website in
January 2000.
The purpose continues to be two-fold:
1) To provide information on the resources available to facilitate investment
in Lynn, Massachusetts
2) To provide a list of commercial and industrial properties that are available
for lease and purchase
The site has proved to be a valuable resource to entrepreneurs who are
opening new business in Lynn, as well as, to existing businesses who have
relocated to our community.
In addition to the members of the business community who make use of
lynndevelopment.com, we would like to express our sincere appreciation
to our partners in the real estate and public offices that contribute their
time and talents towards building a better community.

Departments in OECD
In September 1998 all of the City's economic and community development offices
were consolidated into a single office - the Office of Economic & Community Development.
As Development Director, Hal McGaughey, oversees these programs.
These departments include:

The Lynn Small Business Assistance Center is now being run out of the Lynn Area Chamber
