The Lynn Department of Community Development is responsible for obtaining and administering federal and state funds for a wide array of development initiatives, community facility projects and public service activities.

This involves:
· the design, construction & oversight of public infrastructure improvements
· the rehabilitation of both historic and non-historic buildings
· renovation to recreational areas

The Lynn Department of Community Development currently administers the City's Community Development Block Grant, as well as Section 108 Loans to private entities for economic development and job creation purposes.
